Purpose
There is a demand for nursing professionals able to proactively and creatively address the diverse nursing needs in order to revitalize areas experiencing depopulation, aging, and declining birthrates.
The Graduate School of Nursing aims to cultivate such nursing professionals able to develop activities in support of people’s health while pursuing the full range of nursing science in order to revitalize the progress of community-based nursing, as well as improve nursing care.
The Master’s Course seeks to nurture human resources capable of developing ways to support the health of individuals while pursuing the unique expertise of the nursing profession through the acquisition of the skills to scientifically analyze complex nursing phenomena.
The Doctoral Program goes one step further, aiming to develop research skills appropriate for both educators and independent researchers who train nursing professionals. Namely, the program seeks to train individuals able to identify new issues in areas with a high need to solve health problems, able to explore previous research to develop their own research plans closely linked to practice, and advance such research empirically.
